Resetting the “Replace Ozone Filter” message.

This message comes up around the time that the Fuser Module needs replacing. A new filter is included with a new Fuser Module. It can also be purchased separately if you chose to repair your fuser module.
To reset it is not as intuitive as one might hope. Here’s how to go about resetting the message:

1. Press the “Machine Status” button.
2. Touch the “Faults” tab on the Touchscreen.
3. Touch the “All Faults” soft key on the Touchscreen.
4. Select the “Replace Ozone Filter” fault from the list by touching it.
5. Touch “Instructions” and follow the instructions on screen… it’ll tell you to open the toner waste bottle door (that’s where the filter is found), etc. Replace the filter if you have not already done so.
6. Touch “Abort” or finish the instructions… the machine will ask you “Have you replaced the Ozone Filter?”.
7. Select “Yes” and then touch “Close”

After that, the machine should stop bugging you to replace the filter!
