Genuine Xerox® Xerographic (Drum Ctg) Latch Kit (604K41120)
This is the Yellow latch which swivels to hold the xergraphic module in place. The kit includes the yellow latch (003K17600), a spring, metal spline and the screw which attaches it from the inside of the frame.
These latches break fairly easily. If this piece is broken, many Drum Cartridge related symptoms can result including intermittent shut-downs and messages saying the front door is open.
Be aware that replacing this Latch requires getting inside the frame of the machine and that means it is a relatively big job as you need to remove the entire Scanner Module to get in there.
