Note that the SBC seven-digit LCD display will stop on the code number "5" when there is a miscommunication with the SD Card.  First check to make sure the SD Card is actually seated properly.  Push it in and release to see if it was in the "ejected" position or not. 

Note: Xerox switches between Lexar 4 GB and Micron 8 GB cards all the time (so do not be thrown off if your machine has an 8GB and you receive a 4GB). These SD Cards only store the serial number and copy count, so they don't use very much of the space on the cards.  The OEM part number is the only way to assure that it will work with your particular model (in this case the card will only work with C8030 or C8035. There is a tiny sticker on the front of the SD Card which shows 237E27727 on 30/35ppm low speed cards only.
